On the Road - Great Danes in Duluth

I am often asked if I travel to meet pet photography clients. Though my home base is Maple Grove in the Twin Cities, I do occasionally leave the nest.

Duluth, Rochester, Winona, and Hudson Wisconsin are all on the approved travel list.

Usually the clients want me to come to them if they have more than a few dogs. Or they heard great things about me and want to work with me (I’m humbled.)

Meet the Simonsen family, who have four (!)) great danes and one German Shepherd mix. We made a plan to photograph their beautiful dogs in Two Harbors, taking advantage of Lake Superior’s shore and the surrounding forest.

We took some family photos, and photos of all four dogs together. Side note- there is never any extra cost for more than two dogs. The more dogs, the more love in my book. Yes, it takes longer. And yes it’s worth the extra time. If your dogs won’t sit nicely together (and most dogs in that large of a family do not) we can photograph them separately. With some editing tricks it will appear as if they all posed together in one big happy slobbery family. I’ll never tell….

Here are some of my favorite images from this Up North session.
